DE’LONGHI - Projects on Sustainability
During a Research Fellowship at Politecnico di Milano, Martina Taranto worked on writing a Handbook of Guidelines to Design Low Environmental Impact DēLonghi Products. This is the result of a project commissioned by DēLonghi to the LeNSlab (research lab on Design and System Innovation for Sustainability) within the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano, elaborated through desk research and a series of interactions, knowledge exchanges and operative workshops in cooperation with the DēLonghi team of experts. The purpose of this project was to provide the company with new technical and strategic knowledge for their products' development/design, in order to face the transition towards sustainability in a highly evolving normative context in the European Union and worldwide.
