FIDIA
Fidia is the first prototype ever created from the material research on which Viral Nature (my graduation project at the Royal College of Art) is based.
Fidia is inspired by the ruins of ancient Greek temples. This modular stackable stool looks like a column and lasts only for a season.
I wanted to make a stool for outdoors that, while decaying, would look like an ancient ruin, but that in reality would be able to give life to something new and unforeseen.
An object made for men and for the environment. A mark of man, but integrated with the surrounding nature.
